It's completely safe but I'm choosing to organic coconut oil instead. It has multiple uses and I always have it on hand and you can get a giant container for around 15.00 dollars.

It was a life saver for me...I started using it a couple weeks before my daughter was born and I never had any pain breastfeeding. Applied it several times a day while nursing. I have heard some babies don't like the taste of it...If only it had kept me from getting mastitis numerous times :(

I like the palmers nipple butter better than anything I have tried. This is my 5th baby. I didn't like the stickiness of the pure lanolin cream, the palmers has lanolin in it, but it feels more like a lotion no stickiness!!

Its totally safe but it does contain wool which some women and/or babies can have allergies too. I used it with my first and had no issues. It's not considered vegan friendly tho.
