How are you telling?

How are you telling your family you're pregnant? And how far alone will you be?

I've only told a few people but it's killing me to not tell all of my immediate family! We are going to share the news right after our first ultrasound! I ordered mugs for my dad and brother to share the news :).

This is our third, the first 2 we told our families right away.  With the first one, I found out I was pregnant on my moms birthday.  She was itching for grandchildren so I got her a birthday card for a grandmother.  She thought it was from the dog lol took her a while to clue in! It was my grandmother that caught on first and blurted it out!  With our second we found out and sent a pic of the positive test with the estimated due date to our immediate family.  My kids are now 6 & 4 (will be 7 & 5 in January & February respectively).  And I am 33, turning 34 in February, so I'm much more nervous this time around! We decided to wait till Christmas to tell everyone when I will be 11 weeks.  We are getting pics done of our kids and wrapping them up for everyone to open during out gift exchange.  And for our friends, we are having an ugly Christmas sweater party and we are going to announce it with a clever sweater :) can't wait for the next 5 weeks to pass by! It's going to feel like forever!

We are taking photos tomorrow and telling my son (he's 4) and then hopefully by Christmas we can share the photos! Might do something a little more special for mom but maybe not. A frame with one of the pics might be perfect. ❤️

I told my mom & my mom was so overjoyed that she told the rest of my family lol. However I live with my boyfriend & his family & they have no idea. My boyfriend will find out tomorrow when he comes home he's a truck driver that is why I waited but I made a little gift box for him to open.

On Christmas. I bought personalized ornaments to give them. I'll be 9 weeks by then.  Didn't want to tell anyone until the first doctor appt is over and that's not for a month.
