Pregnancy after the depo

I was on the depo shot for about two years. My husband and I are now trying to conceive. I stopped the shot 1 year ago because I knew after we got married we would start trying. I read online that it can take up to two years to conceive however, my periods returned the month after I stopped the shot and I've been having positive opk. My ultrasounds show that I have been ovulating as well. Does this mean the depo has worn off? How long did it take to get pregnant after your periods return for those who were on depo?
