Vaginal Birth after Cesarean
Hi Ladies! I'm looking for some responses from women who have had or tried to have a vaginal delivery after cesarean. I had a C-section with my first baby 10 years ago. I was only 20 and recovered fast and have a very tiny scar that in not visible in even the tiniest bikini. My baby was 8.1 lbs and 19 1/2". I was induced on my due date. Friends of mine who gave birth vaginally suggest I at least try it. I'm pregnant with my second and am so nervous about whether I will be able to or not and the fear of tearing down there. My friend said sex was painful for 6 months after. I really do not want to experience that and would almost rather plan to have another cesarean. However am reluctant to reopen the same incision in fear that it will not look as good as last time. Sorry if I sound vain about this an ultimately the health of my baby comes first. And will do whatever is best for the baby. Please, ladies if you have experience with this same situation let me know how it turned out for you.
