Can anyone tell me what the skull theory is when seeing a scan photo?

It doesn't always work it's just genetics. My head is very rounded and small and when I saw my sons ultrasound I can tell he was a boy from my instinct if I went with the skull theory I would have guessed girl

I believe its that the skull is more rounded if its a girl, and more square if its a boy.
