How to get over "The One who got away"
I've been in love with an amazing person for what seems like a thousand years now. We had a relationship, it was great and it was also not so great, as relationships usually are. In other words, our highs were astronomical and the lows were molten core. Our relationship didn't work out in the end, but I did have the thoughts that he was the one I was supposed to be with and what if I never love anyone else again? A few years have passed, I've had other people but I always made the mistake of comparing them to him and then becoming unhappy, I digress, we started talking again exactly a year ago and in the beginning it was as if nothing had changed between us --we still considered ourselves one another's, if that makes sense. He currently has a girlfriend and I currently have a boyfriend, but we still talk to each other like we used to. I'll always love this guy. Now though, it kind of seems like he may have regretted talking to me again? I'm not too sure.
I kind of just want to get over him. And I don't seem to have too much luck with it.
