There is a light at the end of the tunnel...
I just want to start of by saying how happy i am & how much of a good day I have had!! … Things appear to be looking up for me (HOORAY).To start my day off i had an interview at a Mental Health Hospital and they said I was successful and I had got the job as a Health Care Assistant! – i already work in a care home but to work in a mental health hospital is amazing for me as i want to fulfil my career as a mental health nurse! I was absolutely amazed by the place and although it breaks my heart knowing how many sufferers there is from this invisible disease I feel that I can offer help & support as well as experience to some extent as I have suffered with depression and anxiety for 9 years with suicidal attempts/thoughts! (I’m so excited)! I feel that there should be a lot more awareness for individuals that suffer with mental health and the options and services available should be a lot clearer and approachable!
