Why does no one talk about MM?

Lauren
When I found out that I was pregnant I purchased two books and downloaded six apps on my phone. I read and learned everything that I could about pregnancy and what to expect. I knew that miscarriage was a possibility. I feared having a miscarriage. I didn't have any of the typical pregnancy symptoms (morning sickness, fatigue, etc.), but I felt like as long as I wasn't bleeding my baby was fine. Which is why when the sonogram tech told me there was no heartbeat I was shocked. How could my body not know my baby wasn't alive? I didn't have the symptoms of someone going through a miscarriage. I didn't have any bleeding. I didn't experience any cramps. Why doesn't anyone talk about missed miscarriages? I had no idea this term even existed until my doctor put his hand on my shoulder and told me I was having one.
