Is it safe to have sex if your 8 weeks??

My SO is begging to have sex but im scared cus i was spotting a few weeks ago but right now im just spotting brown. Which my dr said was fine. I just dont want to risk it, you know. I told him to wait til im in my 2nd trimester. I feel bad about it but what can i do ?:(

My dr said to do pelvic rest if I'm spotting and for the 2 days after it stops. I think you just need to trust your gut and do what you're comfortable with.

Me personally I'm 8weeks and 6days and bleeding as well..my doc advised me.not to have sex because when your having sex he's hitting your uterus.. but everyone situation and doc is different.needless to say my s/o was not thrilled but understood why we have to wait a little longer .
