Faint BFP then period now dark BFP + digital! Wtf?

Question

So I had faint positives for 5 days then started bleeding with clots. Went to the ER HCG was at 20 mIU/mL. Dr sent me for more blood work 2 days later (50 hours between blood tests) and the HCG was at 38 mIU/mL. Now 2 days later and 6 days after bleeding began I'm getting a very obvious positive and a "pregnant" reading on digital. And the bleeding has dwindled down to brown blood when I wipe.

What is going on with my body? I'm so confused!

Hey guys anyone who may encounter this situation in the future or whoever may have followed the short journey. Just want to update y'all: Turns out I have a cyst and an incomplete miscarriage. It's going to be a long road trying to figure out why my body rejects any pregnancy I've had but with that said I want to say, listen to your gut, listen to your bodies. If you feel like something isn't right go get checked out ASAP and push for what you want. If you think an ultra sound will make you feel better then push until they give it to you. Even if it's too early. I listened to my body and my gut. I knew something was wrong from the get-go. I had hope but I also had an instinct that it just wasn't right. If I had just let things be then u could have caused a lot of damage to my body and my spirit. The dr says because I listened to my body we can take care of this incomplete miscarriage in no time without any real harm done. Then we can start the journey of TTC with the help of medicine and a wonderful Doctor. Keep your heads up and keep pushing for what you want and believe is best for you. I had a MC May third and im still on "period" mode because i havent stopped spotting(brown discharge) since then. Im getting darker lines on my pregnancy tests. I had an ultrasound and blood work a couple of days ago and im going back for results tomorrow. Im really confused with my body right now

The bleeding last night was just two medium sized drops of blood and back to brown discharge when I wipe only and same today brown discharge when I wipe only. Which is how the last two days of my period normally are. I'm starting to worry about an ectopic.... I already suffer from anxiety, which has been under control with no panic attacks in the last 2 years... But now I'm so anxious because I'm terrified that it's an ectopic that we'll miss and it'll end up with a tube ruptured. I'm mostly venting here but if anyone has any insight that would be greatly appreciated. I have an appointment for blood work on Monday and an appointment with OB/GYN on Wednesday... The wait + Google is killing me :(

Well this looks promising! Your HcG levels appear to be rising appropriately. (I'm following your progress. Lol...sorry to seem like a stalker.)

My sister had a "period" until she was 5 months pregnant and I have a healthy, beautiful, very intelligent 7 year old niece.

Just try not to stress. Keep following up with your doctor and hope for the best!

So I started bleeding again. Very light but bleeding nonetheless. So over this. I wish I just had even the smallest clue as to what may be happening :((
