Does it help start contractions? 
I haven't dilated yet but I want to at least be somewhat dilated by my next check up on Wednesday :( it's so painful I wish my baby would come before then so I wouldn't have to get check 😭

I have been drinking it since 32 weeks and I'm 38 weeks now. It doesn't start contractions but if I have a double strength cup or drink too much one day it has caused me to have a contraction, iv been told by my midwife to cut back a little bit x

No it doesn't. It tones the uterus and ensures more effective contractions. You need to start drinking it around 34 weeks though to get the benefit. It decreases length of labour by making it more efficient

It will only help start labor if your body is ready, also you have to steep it for a long time and drink tons of it!
