Also, forgot to say but if you can find a prenatal with folate instead of folic acid that is best. Folate is the real vitamin, not synthetic, and better for nuerotube development. You can also get folate by eating spinach. I personally would only ever choose a prenatal made from real foods since that is going to provide you with true vitamins and not synthetic. The two I've taken (real chapter and country life as mentioned in my previous post) have both been super easy to take with no side affects or bad taste. You take them both 3 times a day since your body can't absorb a ton of vitamins at once, but it's not as bad as it sounds. I just got a 3 a day pill sorter and it helps me remember to take them.

My two favorite prenatal are New Chapter Perfect Prenatal or Country Life Real Food Organics Prenatal. They are a little pricey, but worth the cost to provide my baby with chemical free whole food nutrients during such important developmental stages. It is a personal decision, but I would just be sure you research whatever you choose to be sure it is effective and providing you with what is needed during important development stages for your baby and also to give you peace of mind. Be careful with the cheap vitamins from Walmart or target, they are cheap for a reason. They have been known to be filled with chemicals and synthetic ingredients your body can't even absorb. They aren't all bad, but knowledge is power to weed out the bad ones!!
