Growing up, my mother told me a woman's first child is the only time they should have a baby shower. Than I heard if your first child is, lets say, a boy, than you get pregnant with a girl, a baby shower is okay. THAN I heard if a certain number of years have gone by, its ok to have a shower. Well I just found out I'm pregnant with baby #3 and ALL my girlfriends (I mean ALL my girlfriends lol) have been asking me if I'm having a baby shower and idk the "proper" thing to do. I had a shower when I was pregnant with our son (that was 8yrs ago) & didnt have one when I was pregnant with our daughter. We didn't plan on having anymore children so we have NOTHING & this has come at a bad time financially. I appreciate any and all suggestions! Thank you.
