Went in for a check up and had an intra vaginal ultrasound at 5 weeks. Doctor did not see a sac and scheduled a follow up for 7 weeks to check back. The following 3 days I've had spotting ranging from light to moderate with brown then red coloring accompanied by mild cramping. I know to go to the ER if the bleeding increases in volume or there is any tissue passing. I'm keeping an eye on it and am planning to follow up with the Dr. Monday. Has anyone experienced this sort of thing? I've heard it could be the cervix stretching, but know these can be signs of an ectopic pregnancy. Any information or shared experiences is appreciated.
