Kombucha Tea?

Does anyone drink this? Any idea on risks for pregnancy, if any? I am craving it so much, but can't find much when I google about it. 😖🐷

Fermented drink... I'm sure it's fine just like it's fine to use vinegars, I'd ask ur doc but I 💛 kombucha!!! I know a lot of moms to be here in co drink it daily!! Just remember one bottle is two servings! (:

I love it. My friend has a Kombucha company (Whalebird).. but I'm avoiding it for the unpasteurized reasons I read about..

GTs gingerade kombucha was my jam but I'm abstaining while pregnant because it's unpasteurized.

All I have read is that if you drank it before getting pregnant and had no issues it should be okay during pregnancy. I couldn't find anything conclusive online either. I plan to ask my midwife about it on Friday because kombucha is a part of my life!!

Whether store bought or homemade, all Kombucha has very trace amounts of alcohol (nothing to worry about, but ask your midwife/OB).

People's main concern is that kombucha contains live bacteria and yeast--which is excellent for you!--but some doctors might claim this as dangerous. The reality is that you'd know very immediately by smell if the kombucha hadn't fermented properly. 
This would not be an issue with store bought. And if you're fermenting your own, then you probably wouldn't be asking this question! :)

Is it Kombucha that you've made at home or the brand sold in the big box stores? Because I believe homemade has some alcohol in it, whereas the stuff you can buy, is mixed with fruit juice & doesn't have alcohol.
