The (Evil) Sister in Law...at it again.
I've done a few posts on here about my sister in law and things she's said to her family and myself...well I ve yet another doozy. We were all invited to see her baby, who's is such a cutie pie..he fell asleep in my arms...such a sweet moment. Anyways so we all went over to the their house. My hubby and I bought them a large stuffed animal and a few onsies. A 3 month one and a 6 month one. They got other things as well. So today my husband gets a text message from his sister that says Seeing how you and your wife only got us a few things for the baby perhaps you can buy us a lot more things that don't look as cheap. I was floored...I texted her back and said that the stuffed animal alone was 30 dollars. How dare she ask us that. R as I'll call her said word for word to me : I can tell the gifts were your influence as they look cheap and the one onsie crumbled apart when it went in the wash. So get us non cheap items from now on.
So I've decided this...my husband and I are serving food for the homeless on Christmas Day so we won't be doing any family things BUT just for R I'm going to buy about 10 different toys and a few outfits of all sizes and even a few adult things like wine and a gift card. Then I'm going to take a picture of all the stuff and get a Christmas card. In the card will be a picture of all the things I bought for them with a note that says this: all of this is for you and the baby, and becuase I know your heart is so big I know you will have no problem with the fact that it was all given to a family in need. The card for the family will say donated on behalf of R and your baby L. Merry Christmas.
