Membrane sweep success

Ladies who had had a membrane sweep and had success. What were your symptoms right after? Did you cramp right away or did it take a couple of hours? I am 39+4 3cm dilated and 70-80% effaced my midwive just swept my membranes twice in the office just wanna know how soon I should look for symptoms!!
