Miscarriage or messed up cycle

I am new to this so I'm still learning how to use the app and everything else this app has to offer. I wanted to get some advice/opinions. 

I had my last period on November 12 and it lasted about a week. (Like normal) yesterday Morning I woke up and I was laying in a small pool of blood and when I got up it started it rush out. Now, after this last period I have stopped taking my birth control which I have been on for 5 years. So, I'm not  sure if it my cycle is trying to figure itself out or if I had a small miscarriage. Any advice and feedback would be appreciated. Thank you
