So I was told that I was demon possessed today by what I call a "religious nut" (now, I enjoy talking to people who are religious, and I admire those who are solid in their beliefs and faithful to their God. But this is someone I know who is very much 'holier than thou'. I'm pretty sure she believes she is actually God, and she's definitely one of those that if you don't do it her way, or if you disagree with her in any way, she will find a way to make it about God and how you're going against Him and you're sinning.)

Why did she tell me such a thing?

Because I'm wearing too much black. My hair is dyed black. And I have a t-shirt with "#beastmode" (a workout shirt) on it.

I had to roll my eyes at this.

Here's the deal. My adopted family? A pastor and children's pastor. My fiance's dad? A pastor. My best friend? A worship leader.

And it's funny how I spend my entire day around all these christian people who know the bible in and out, upside down and backwards. and they know their God very, very well. I know if they sensed anything about me that wasn't right, they'd say something and would want to pray with me. And they don't. They are always loving and encouraging and uplifting me.

And you're telling me that somehow I have a demon in me and you're the only one that can see it?

Anyhow, I just let it go. Smiled and walked away. But I'm so tired of this. This person does this to me ALL THE TIME. My soul is always "in danger" and she's always so "concerned" about me. What gets me is I'm perfectly fine...nothing is wrong with me... I'm healthy, I'm happy, I'm not into anything illegal or immoral... there's no need for concern...

I can't cut her out of my life completely, but is there any advice on how to deal with this? I'm about to snap. I just want to shake her and let her know that I don't take her seriously and that honestly....I'm more concerned about her. It can't be healthy always being so doom and gloom all the time.

I don't know.
