Odd question.

My boyfriend and I are super excited that we are having a baby. First for us both. He even agreed to move closer to my mom since I can't stand being 1300 miles away from her and being I'm the only way she's gonna have a grand baby I want her to be involved. I love my mom!!! Anyway I drive the 1300 miles every couple months to see her/him. He said today he wants to get a house phone and do away with his cell. I told him its a bad idea because his job is an hour away from the house. So if I'm alone a good portion of the day I may not be able to contact him if I need him. I'm I being crazy or would it make anyone else uncomfortable. Until he moves I have no one where he is except him and 911 incase of emergency
