Rape kit

Unfortunately I was recently assaulted by a guy I met on tinder. Although I take some responsibility for going to his hours and getting in his bed, i mustered up enough courage to get a rape kit and I will be reporting the assault to the police this morning. I am upset and angry but I know I will survive. It wasn't a violent rape. I feel awful even calling it a rape. Has anyone had to do a rape kit and report a rapist?

Edit: the first time we had sex, it was consensual. The second time I said No multiple times and he took off the condom. I was too high to really do much.

The officer woman told me I the chances of anything coming of it was slim to none since it wasn't a straight case of rape and also because all of the detectives on the rape division are men. She said "not knowing the guys name isn't a good track record to have. Don't have sex with men you don't know"
