is it just me?

okay so my period is not extremely irregular, but some things I've read online or heard from friends have concerned me and I wanted a wider audience to ask. On the first two days of my period I could bleed through a super tampon in an hour, and if my first day is really heavy I can bleed through a super plus in an hour or an hour and a half!! I also get pretty bad cramps leading up to/on my period, and I get quite a few pimples. another odd thing about my period is that about 2-3 days into my period, it'll stop randomly for a day and come back for a really heavy, cramp filled day. I was just wondering if this is normal, or if I should go to my doctor about this or any advice anyone can give!! thank you (:
