Yoga question
My husband and I went to a vinyasa yoga class tonight in our town. It wasn't a dedicated prenatal class, so I am wondering about some of the safety of the poses. Obviously anything like handstands are a no no, but what are your thoughts on resting on your stomach (I'm 24/3 now) and some twisting. Online it says that the twisting is really dangerous, but it felt good to release some stress in those areas and baby is bouncing around now as I write this. What are some of your thoughts on this? Also, I had a midwife appointment this afternoon where I mentioned I'd be going to yoga and she didn't say anything as a warning to avoid certain poses.
