Update about my scheduled c section yesterday!
posted yesterday about my scheduled c section that evening and how I would love your prayers! Well, things couldn't have gone any better thank you for those who wished me well!!. Baby girl was born first, weighing 5 lbs 11 ounces. Baby Boy was born second weighing 5 lbs 15 ounces. I had the spinal block and it worked quickly and effectively. However it made me very tired and nauseous for the first 16 hours or so. I'm currently 26 hours postpartum and im not even bleeding anymore! I lost a total of 300 ml of blood during surgery and the average is about 1000 for a c section. I don't need pads or anything. I'm breastfeeding them both exclusively, and I haven't needed to take any pain medication! Overall I'd say it's a pretty successful surgery! Here are my beautiful babies! Both have milk faces!!
