First time Pregnancy when to announce?

No previous miscarriages. Thoughts on when to announce.

This is my first time too. We are going to tell our parents and immediate family after our first docs appt which witll be about 7/8 weeks!

When you feel comfortable. Last time I waited until the first appointment and could see a heart beat to tell family. Then everyone else at 12 weeks but it unfortunately ended in a late miscarriage.

This time I'm waiting a long time
