Postpartum bleeding?

It's day15 postpartum and I am still bleeding like a period. I'm not soaking a pad every hour but I get phases where I pass on some good volume of bright red blood and then next time it's again light. I am still having pain in the clitoris area. Sometimes when I stand up after a while then I feel a gush of blood dropping on my pad. Is this expected at 2 weeks? How long should bleeding be continuing?
