Which Girl Name?

I love that Vada is uncommon. We have a cat named Vega (after the star) but she's getting old and it is a slightly different name. Olivia is so pretty but it is very popular. My son's name is Lennon and my adopted daughter's name is Layla. I don't know if we want to keep up with the L tradition, especially since we didn't name our daughter ourselves but Olivia could be nicknamed Liv or Livvy.

I've loved the name Vada since I watched My Girl way back in the day! I have a great aunt named Veda and that's going to be part of our next child's name, if we have another. Vada seems like a very classic, old, and lovely name.

The downside to Vada is that some people's first thought is Darth Vader. But that's not too bad is it? I mean, Olivia is also an ugly pig in the book series lol.
