As a nail tech in training, I know that the products themselves are safe. However, you should make sure of a few things first. Make sure the facility you go to is well ventilated. Also, it is very important to ensure your general health and baby health are not at risk. Ask the techs at your salon how they disinfect their foot basin. Chances are, if they respond with "a tablet" it is not a sanitary facility. There are no such things as "tablets" for disinfecting. Basically, they are just bathbombs. If they don't sanitize their foot basins, they are likely not sanitizing anything else either!

my doctor told me for acrylic or gel, she said i can paint my nails as long as there is good ventilation and i'm not breathing in the smell
