Nipple barbells too long?!

I have really small nipples, and my piercer put in some curved barbells that are kinda long... Almost twice the size of my nipples. Can I find shorter ones online or am I just abnormal???

When you first get pierced, piercers will put in bars that are too long to account for a chance of swelling - if you were to swell over the whole piercing there would be a serious problem. Once it's healed (probably 6-8 weeks or so? Talk to your piercer) you can get shorter ones! I would recommend going back to the piercer to get your first set because they'll be able to get you a good size and then you can go off of that for any other jewelry.
