What's your progress?

I'm 38 weeks with my second, and I had a check done and my doctor said I was 2cm dilated and 80% effaced. She said the baby was low like -1!! I hope I go into labor sooner, only because I'd love to spend Christmas with him! I'm due on the 21st. Has anyone had a similar experience and gone into labor?

38 weeks, due the 21st, dilated to a 1 & 50% effaced now for 3 weeks.

36+5 and 4.5 cm, 70% effaced, and babe at a -2 station.

36/1 appt was Mon and she said I was 0 dilated, 30% effaced, baby is at station -3. Next Mon we are going to see how much he weighs. All of Dec I'm determined to walk and during Christmas break get a yoga/birth ball.

@ my 36 week appointment I was 2-3cm 80-90 effaced and I wasn't given a number but he did say he was as low as he could be without me being in actual labor, he said I could go at anytime 36+5 today I'm hoping to have him in my 37th week like I did with my 1st 2 girls... Sounds like you could be having baby before Christmas but hard to say I wish all the dialation, effacement and all that ment more than it does sometimes

I'm 40weeks with my second (first came at 38) and as far as I know from Friday, I'm 2cm, 70% effaced and babys head is in 0 station (but he's been there for weeks now). No signs of labor yet 😞
