Do you only wash your lo with water?

No soap.

And I mean little baby. Not toddler. 
Like newborn-6 month old.

I use the most gentle soap I can find on newborn. I have to use soap cause babies poop and throw up on themselves. Just water doesn't get rid of all the bacteria and the idea of that grosses me out.

I used to use Johnsons and Johnsons baby bath lavender wash stuff, I'd add it to water and just dunk the baby in and wash her by hand. Never soap though, the lavender would really relax her, and then after that I nice baby massage to relax her for bed time.

Our dermatologist and pediatrician both recommended scent free Aquaphor gentle wash&shampoo. It's a soap free wash for babies and super gentle on their skin. We also only bathe once every couple of days unless they get super dirty or have a diaper blow out.

We used the mostly-natural baby wash stuff (and still do now that she's a toddler), but not daily until she was a few months old. I'm big on avoiding SLS, parabens, dioxane, propylen glycol, DEA, and triclosan in my and my kid's bath products.

We also wiped the neck fold buildup at least once a day, as well as disinfected the belly button area regularly.

I use burts bees bath & body wash on my lo every night, aveno lotion on her cheeks and burts bees powder on her bum. She smells divine 😊
