Should you meet guys on tinder?

I'm newly single, and I got a tinder just to see what it's about and there's actually a nice guy I'm talking to. How do ya'll feel about meeting someone from this app? Any success stories?

I've met people off tinder a few times. I always meet them/never let them pick me up the first time, go somewhere public, and tell my roommate where I am and when I'll be back in case something happens. Then again, I'm a criminal justice major so way over cautious with everyone since I've seen it all 😂

I've met 3 guys from tinder overall. First 2 were a complete failure. But the 3rd one wasn't, I've been seeing him for 3 months now and he's just amazing. He really got my attention because we has like 10 friends in common (which is pretty rare) from back home in Ecuador. He was an exchange student in my college over there. Apparently we used to go to the same places, same parties, knew a bunch of the same people but never met. Until we did, here in New York through Tinder.

I have met 4 guys on okc and it's  gone well. The guy  i been going  on dates with is pretty nice. The way i do it before i meet them is ask them for their  Facebook  or snapchat or even Instagram  just to make sure  is really  them. I heard stories  of success  from online  sites.  Some even end up getting  married.  Go for it you never know ;) just be careful.

I think you should go for it, find someone who catches your interest. I knew when I saw someone that I might even think about talking to and we had mutual friends I'd imedately go find them on Facebook and sometimes ask a friend who knew them a little about them. I know when I met my boyfriend I met him in a mutual place in daylight and even brought my friend along since it wasn't a date. When he wanted me to come over his house I brought along my friend and we told our other close friend where we are. Now my lovely guy and I have been dating for over a year and have been living together for 3/4 months now.

Personally I don't think I would, but some of my friends have actually have had some pretty successful relationships come out of tinder! They usually just started with hooking up which lead to establishing an official relationship- but I'm pretty sure one of the couples I know will be getting engaged reasonably soon so it could happen to anyone! It's just not for everyone but it can work!

I voted go for it only because there's no "it depends". There are some really neat people out here on tinder. I've met an ex on there once. But there are also creeps, weirdos, and even dangerous people. My mom even called me the other day from the hospital she works at begging me to delete any tinder or similar app that I had because she had just got done treating a girl my age who had been brutally raped and beaten within an inch of her life from a boy she had met on tinder. But with that being said, it's a completely different era where absolutely everyone is on the Internet, so finding love/casual dating is no different. Don't meet up with a person until you feel as if you're comfortable with them. Maybe start texting for a minute, and when/if you choose to meet, ALWAYS have it be in public and let your friends/someone you trust know what you're doing. Tinder can be super fun if you're safe and smart! :)
