Ectopic?

After miscarriages and a chemical last month I am so anxious with this pregnancy! Lately I've been having pretty bad pains on my right side in my pelvic area. I've been trying to wait until my appointment on the 21st but today I finally called my OB office and asked for an earlier appointment. They are completely booked solid, so the receptionist put me on the phone with a nurse. The nurse told me it's completely normal and they're not going to see me before my appointment unless I start bleeding. I'm so stressed out and wondering what I should do. I don't want to go to the ER if I don't have to, because in my town you wait 6 hours to even get in and it doesn't seem urgent. I'm just nervous it could be ectopic. Any advice ladies?
