Has anyone done a water birth and how did it go ?

Answer

I've done it three times. 
1st: I got overheated and got onto the bed....bad timing cuz  BAM there she was lol. No water birth that time.
2nd: was a successful full water birth....she loves telling her birth story now that she's older. Best experience out of 5 deliveries, hands down!!! 
3rd: I got a room with a more narrow tub and could only deliver to her shoulders. I had to get out and the rest of her was delivered on the bathroom floor. Not as great of a story for her to tell haha! Oh well.
This one will be water birth as well, and now they have ALL garden tubs, so I expect no problems.

Yes, it went good. It was in a regular bathtub at home. I don't know what else to say about it :)
