I'm 16 years old and have recently become sexually active with my boyfriend of five months. Our usual method of contraception is through the use of condoms. Condoms usually prove effective for us both, but have broken a couple of times during use in the past. After the incident, I used emergency contraception and have since gotten my period. Though no other incidents have happened since, I am nine days late for my period and am extremely worried. Is there any chance that I could be pregnant? And if so, how can I be sure of this and what can I do before it's too late?
