Induced / C section

So I'm getting induced this Saturday but since my cervix is still very thick I'm scared the medication won't help me thin out fast, stress out the baby and possibly gonna need am emergency c section. I'm just trying to get info on both, did any of you mommas get induced or c section? How was your experience?
