I'm 24 weeks, should I be feeling my baby as high as above my belly button?

I had my last appointment at 23 weeks, I'm 24 weeks 2 days now. My uterus was measuring at about 2 inches about my belly button. She said I was right on track. So I asked her if I was crazy to be feeling kicks that far  above my belly button and she said no and that it is a great sign. So, according to my dr, you are showing a great sign too lol
