Stories about breastfeed shaming?

Have any of you been shamed for breastfeeding in public? I honestly cannot wait to be able to breastfeed my daughter and I wish someone would say something to me.....I read so many stories about mothers being shamed for feeding their babies, just curious what yours might be?

I don't have a problem with anyone breastfeeding in public.. I did with my second son, with a cover..... 
Now, I took my boys (6 and 2) to the park the other day, and this lady was there sitting in the middle of the play ground and pulled her shirt up over her shoulder completely, taking her arm out of her shirt and started breastfeeding... There were so many kids around just staring n no cover, nothing but a partially naked woman feeding her baby in the middle of the park... I found myself questioning her decision, not because of what she was doing, but how and where she was doing it....
Breastfeeding is a wonderful, and natural thing, however I think a little more discretion would go a long way in a situation with tons of kids around... I wouldn't have thought twice if she would have just lifted up her shirt and snuggled her baby up to her, or even used a blanket or cover... but damn near taking your shirt off in a park designed for 2-10 year olds, where there's dirt and germs all around isn't the best decision in my eyes.. 
I'm sure someone will find a way to say I'm wrong or get upset about my opinion, but it's busy how I felt At the time..

Theres nothing wrong with breastfeeding your child . That is the natural thing to do . This world is so corrupted people look at it as a sexual thing. Don't care what anyone else thinks. Females are walking around here naked and half dressed all the time ,but people want to make a big deal about someone breast-feeding and nurturing their baby. I say screw what anyone else thinks and go for it . If it works for you and your baby that's all that matters.

I have gotten really rude stares, and there are family members and friends that I had that would just get up and leave the room (in public or at home) if I started breastfeeding my daughter. I just don't understand why some people are comfortable with the commercials I've seen and the ads that are everywhere, but me feeding my baby is gross. My family is also very... idk. Hick? Redneck? They literally never ever read a book on pregnancy, childbirth and parenting but constantly tell me some backwoods gossip on how to do shit. Like my stepmom insisted that breastfeeding is absolutely pointless, and even bad for baby, after three WEEKS. Lol my entire family was incredibly repulsed that i wanted a home birth and still likes to say awkward shit. My stepmom had horrible birthing experiences and likes to insist i should ask for an epidural, episiotomy and pitocin. "Becuase it's easier on the body". I didnt even tear with my daughter!!! So if that tells you the kind of ignorance I've dealt with when visiting lol they're trying to kill me. Lol

A study was done in the US and it brought to light that a vast majority of women who breastfeed have never had a problem. I'll be honest, I think the breastfeeding shaming has been blown out of proportion and seems like a way to stir the pot. I agree that it shouldn't happen because it is feeding your baby.

Nope, never happened to me. I BF my first two boys for a year each. Apparently someone gave me a nasty look once because my husband said something, but I've never had issue. I don't feed with a cover, but I am still discreet. Most often they don't even know I'm BFing. I wear layers. One shirt up and one shirt down means my stomach and boob are both covered. I can also feed in the moby and the ergo. I don't really care if anyone has a problem. That's not my concern. I've had good reactions before though. Maybe I'm only seeing what I want to! Lol

I've been told I need to pump more bottles so others could feed baby and weird stares but thankfully nothing to the extent of what some women have gone through
