Is what my MIL doing ok ?
Sorry need to vent
When I got married I moved in the house where my husband leaved with his parents, sister and dogs, we took the the complete basement . I always kept everything clean but I never did anything in the main floor or kitchen, which thy kept pretty messy but I mean it's their house their rules. Me and my hubby paid minimal rent 500$.
1,5 years later my MIl got a job in another state and they decided to move out and leave my sister in law with us , so we moved to the master bedroom and they left . Thy give us an option of either taking over the house payments and make it officially ours or they would sell it . I never liked the house it gives me this disgusting feeling as they were never clean people , vacuumed once 6 month , never cleaned dust + everything was old and breaking . My husband insisted that we would buy the house for the residual value so I said yes . Fast forward and sorry for taking long :::
99% of everything in the house is theirs they never moved anything and when I try to free one shelf I have to ask them , garage can barely fit one car . They literally never through anything so we have 5 bedroom and I can't have a guest in any often because everywhere is their velingings .House is fool of the ugly decorations that creep me out ,I'm paying lot of money ( house under mine and my husbands names ) for this house and feel uncomfortable here . Every Time I tell my husband he gets upset and said this is his dream house. Ok
Now my parents in law visit whenever they want and act like this is their house same dirt and mess as soon as they enter the house, they want to use all my nice electronics and not take care of it , I work hard for things I buy and I take care of it , but they just don't care .my mil said the other day oh I missed my house , this will always be my house . Also I heard my sister in law yell at my husband saying that this is always her house because it belongs to her parents . WTF??? Also my father in law said they paid for this house 7 years so we have no rights for it until we pay for 7 years for it . Am I overreacting ??
Thank you for listening
I feel embarrassed to feel this way that why ananymos
