Follicle Reduction?

I just found out I have 5 mature follicles after taking femara and gonal f this cycle. I am on day 11 and tomorrow I am scheduled for a follicle reduction. Has anyone had this done before? I am nervous about it and any insight  you have would be greatly appreciated

Gone through many fertility treatments including IVF twice (30 weeks now with IVF baby) and have never heard of this! Personally, I wouldn't do it. I had 5 follicles on Femara one cycle and still continued and didn't even get pregnant! It's a crap chute & if you're experiencing infertility, I'd take all the chances you can get!

are you doing an IUI or IVF? With IUI they will reduce the amount of follicles however with IVF they want as many follicles as they can get.
