Mucus plug?

I am 35 weeks and I think I may have just lost my mucus plug.. I'm a first time mom and not quite sure what that means :/

It can take anywhere from a day or two weeks for you to go into labor after you lose your mucus plug. You will eventually start feeling contractions and baby will be on the way!

You can lose your mucus plug (or pieces of it) at anytime through your pregnancy. It's a self regenerating plug, so it could very well be regenerating, especially if you only lost parts of it.
