High peak Fertility means?

Hello Ladies,

OK so this morning I took an Ovulation test (clear blue digital). My results came back as High Fertility. What does that mean? Doses that mean I'm ovulating?

OPKs aren't as simple as that. If you're using the clear blue digital advance ones, and I assume you are from what you've said, it measures two horomones. The flashing smiley (high fertility) means your estrogen levels are peaking. Usually they rise before your LH rises. A solid smiley (peak fertility) means your LH is rising, which typically occurs before an egg is released. The problem with opks though is that you can have a peak reading, which means your LH is surging, but an LH surge doesn't always mean an egg will be released. Aside from blood work and ultrasounds, temping is a bit more accurate. It takes awhile to get the hang of it and it is a lot of work...but could be worth it.
