I've seen lots of post where the mom decides to stay at home, but none where it was the dad that is deciding to stay at home. How is you family doing it? I was hoping to be a stay at home mom, but due to my husbands job, mine is more stable and consistent income. We are thinking that it might be a good idea for him to switch to being a part time stay at home daddy. Working a few days a week when our families can watch the LO. This came about because infant care is about $1200 a month and that is the same as our mortgage!! What has everyone decided is right for them?
