Baby bloat? Can someone explain

Im lost with the "bloat". What does that mean... Im 5 weeks and 3 days. 
idk If i feel bloated or just feeling fatty. Lol

When you become pregnantx your digestion slow down significantly in order to allow your body to absorb as much nutrition as possible from the food you eat in order to support the growing baby. As a result, your food has more time to break down inside of you - the byproduct of food breaking down is gas, and lots of it! Yay! There are pockets of gas trapped throughout your digestive track making you all nice and bloated! You also retain water, so maybe that's why you feel fat. Congrats on baby! :)
