Do you actually ovulate exactky 12- 36 hrs after your surge? I'm trying to calculate how many DPO I will be.

Yes, the average is 36 hrs. For all intents and purposes, if I got a positive test on the cd15, I ovulate cd16, and cd17 becomes 1dpo.
