Irregular period after miscarriage

I had a D&E done on Oct 1st, and since then my period has been irregular. If you experienced the same, did your period ever become regular again and how soon?

We have been ttc this month again, after waiting for two cycles. However, my period was supposed to start already and it has not. pregnancy tests all negative.
