Any moms experienced placenta accreta or know of someone?

I Had an ultrasound done today that made the doctor suspicious regardimg the area where I had my previous csections. She said that there are blood vessels that look close to the uterus. Which could mean the placenta is attaching itself to my uterus. I Have to go to a specialist in 4 weeks for further testing. I know this is serious, and do not know anyone who has had this. I've never heard of it until today. I'm so scared and nervous. Any input helps. Good or bad. I know how serious this can be. Dr. Already said if this is the case I would have a hysterectomy.  It's not in my hands I know. Just want any feedback. Thank u!
