Getting Horny On Your Period.

so me and my boyfriend were making out and we both knew we weren't gonna do anything because I am on my period, so we were basically just touching eachother and kissing, and it's like I got so turned on! like not the way I usually do, I couldn't control myself I was just 100 times more horny than I usually am! even he noticed, is that normal? or unusual? am I the only one that gets horny like that when I'm on my period?
