Just a bit scared

So, I've never had sex before. The farthest I've ever gone was my ex was him fingering me. It was a bit of a traumatizing experience. He popped my cherry and I've honestly never seen so much blood before. I lost enough blood to the point where I passed out the next day. My point is I'm just scared of that happening again whenever I do end up having sex with someone and I don't want to be scared.
