Marriage Commitment

Tonight I fully committed the rest of my life to the man I love. I have a ring I was going to give during our anniversary, but I'm think I'm going to give it to him tomorrow. (We have had plans to marry but I hadn't gotten him his ring) Any thoughts ladies, on the idea of letting the one you love know that your truly committed and fully invested into the relationship for what can be for the rest of your lives? It literally came as a shock.
